Research & Development (R&D) Cell
Introduction:
The research policy of NIFT-TEA College of knitwear fashion aims to enhance the research and development among faculty and students, where this policy provides a clear vision about the enhancement of research in all the fields, from various funding agencies to carry out research. This policy focus to establish a close link between the industry and the college through sponsored research projects. It encourages them to engage in research, present their work at conferences, and publish articles.
Objective:
To promote and facilitate research, innovation, and development activities within the college, fostering a culture for promotion of excellence in research and research training related activities of the college.
Roles of the R&D Cell:
- Facilitate the quality research activities useful to the college and the society.
- Establish rational, transparent, objective based decision making systems for the allocation of financial support and other support for researchers
- Inclusion of research component into the UG and PG curriculum.
- Encourage the faculty members to become research supervisors.
- Encourage student’s right from graduate level to find innovative methods through research
- Projects to solve the existing problems as well as the predicted problems of the future.
- Encourage multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research activities in the university.
- Encourage research paper publication, patent filing and transfer of technology.
- Monitor research output through Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research.
